"Mediterranea" (also published as "Méditerranée" / "mediterranee") is proprietary
software and artwork. It is licensed, not sold. By installing, copying or using
any part of it, you agree to this licence. If you do not agree, do not install or
use it.

1. WHAT THIS LICENCE COVERS

   Everything in this project except the third-party components listed in
   section 8, including: the colour themes and calibrations (themes/), the
   palettes, colour values and preview data, the generator and build scripts
   (build.mjs and related files), the command-line tool (mediterranee.mjs,
   install.sh, uninstall.sh and related files), the website and its content,
   and all documentation (together, the "Software").

2. WHAT YOU MAY DO

   You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable
   licence to:

   a) install and use the Software on computers you own or control, for your
      own use — including while doing your own professional work. Each licence
      key activates the Software on a limited number of computers (currently 5);
      deactivating a computer frees its activation;
   b) make private changes to the Software for your own use only, as long as
      those changes are never shared, published or distributed.

3. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO

   Unless indiecrafts gives you written permission first, you may not:

   a) sell, resell, rent, lease, lend, sublicense or otherwise commercially
      exploit the Software, in whole or in part;
   b) redistribute, share, publish or make the Software available to anyone
      else — including through public or shared repositories, dotfiles,
      package registries, editor or theme marketplaces, theme galleries,
      file-sharing services or websites;
   c) create, publish or distribute derivative works, including ports to other
      editors, terminals or apps, forks, "inspired by" themes, or themes that
      reproduce its palettes or colour values;
   d) extract, copy or reproduce the palettes, colour values, calibrations or
      generation method to build a competing or similar product;
   e) bundle or include the Software in any product, template, starter kit,
      service, course or distribution;
   f) reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the Software,
      except to the extent that applicable law expressly allows it despite
      this restriction;
   g) use the Software, or any part of it, to train, fine-tune or evaluate
      machine-learning or AI models;
   h) remove, hide or alter any copyright, licence or attribution notice;
   i) use the names "Mediterranea", "Méditerranée" or "indiecrafts", or their
      logos, in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation.

4. OWNERSHIP

   indiecrafts keeps all rights, title and interest in the Software, including
   all intellectual property rights. Any rights not expressly granted in this
   licence are reserved.

5. TERMINATION

   This licence ends automatically if you break any of its terms. When it
   ends, you must stop using the Software and delete every copy you have.
   Sections 3, 4, 6, 7 and 9 continue to apply after termination.

6. NO WARRANTY

   The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or
   implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular
   purpose and non-infringement. This does not affect your statutory rights as
   a consumer, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content.

   The Software is a visual comfort tool. It is not a medical device and does
   not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. If you experience eye strain
   or discomfort, consult an eye-care professional.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

   To the maximum extent permitted by law, indiecrafts is not liable for any
   indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of
   data, profits or use, arising from or related to the Software. indiecrafts's
   total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Software, if any.
   Nothing in this licence limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS

   These components are not covered by this licence and remain under their own
   terms:

   - Monaspace font (site/public/fonts/) — © GitHub, Inc., SIL Open Font
     License 1.1. See site/public/fonts/OFL.txt.
   - App logos on the website (site/lib/app-logos.js) — from Simple Icons,
     CC0 1.0. The logos are trademarks of their respective owners and are
     used only to indicate compatibility.
   - Interface icons on the website (site/lib/reicons.js) — from Reicon,
     MIT License; its copyright and permission notice is at the top of that file.

9. GOVERNING LAW

   This licence is governed by the laws of France. The courts of France have
   exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law of your country of residence
   gives you rights that cannot be waived.
