Does Mediterranea work in Cursor, Windsurf and VSCodium?
Yes. Cursor, Windsurf and VSCodium are built on VS Code and use the same themes. The Mediterranea installer detects each one on your computer and adds all 54 settings — Framed or Flat, as you choose — to every editor it finds.
Can I have flat window bars in VS Code?
Yes. Every Mediterranea setting comes Framed — title bar, sidebar, tabs and status bar a shade darker than the editor — and Flat, with those bars in the editor’s colour. The installer asks which you want, or installs both; the flat ones end in “· Flat”, e.g. “Mediterranea · Dusk 3 · Light · Flat”.
Is Mediterranea on the VS Code Marketplace?
No, Mediterranea is sold directly. The installer adds it to VS Code as a local extension — no account, no sign-in; after a one-time activation with your licence key it works offline.
Does Mediterranea change with the time of day on its own?
No — you choose the setting. VS Code can switch between one Light and one Dark Mediterranea setting whenever your system does (see the settings above), so many people keep one setting for the day and one for the evening.
Will Mediterranea slow VS Code down?
No. Mediterranea is colours only: VS Code loads it like any other theme, with no extension code running in the background.
Which font does Mediterranea use in VS Code?
Mediterranea works with any font. The previews use Monaspace Xenon; on macOS the installer can add it for you through Homebrew — it’s an option in the checklist.
